Austrian Finals: Athletics Attnang-Puchheim take 2-0 Lead
The Athletics Atthang-Puchheim won the best-of-seven Austrian Baseball League finals with the score 2-0. The Diving Ducks Wiener Neustadt lost the game with the score 14-0 and 7-4 on Saturday in Attnang-Puchheim.
Ten runs in the fifth and the sixth together increased the score in the first game. Andre Gruber did 3 and Steven Johnson did 2 hiome runs. During the second game Atthang-Puchheim made first the score 2-0 and then after 6 innings the score was 7-0. Finally, Jan Alteneder ended the contest by a two-run triple.
Third and fifth games will be played in Wiener Neustadt next weekend.
