Sparks Haarlem defeated SK Joudrs Prague 3-1 in the final of the European Premiere Cup in Ronchi dei Legionari on Saturday. Forli, which like Sparks Haarlem had finished the preliminary round with a 7-1 record, had to settle for third place after getting shut out in the third game of the Page Playoffs. In the final Ginger de Weert and Rebecca Soumeru kept the Czech team to three hits, a run and a walk in seven frames. Veronika Peckova got charged with the loss.
