The Italian Baseball Series continues after “ASD Rimini” downed “Unipol Bologna” 8-2 on Wednesday to force a game six on Saturday. “Bologna” still leads the best-of-seven series 3-2 and has home field advantage in games six and seven this coming weekend.
Daniel Mayora led the way, breaking a 2-2 tie with a grand slam in the seventh. He hit two home runs in the game and drove in five overall. Alessandro Grimaudo collected both RBI for “Fortitudo”. Yomel Rivera picked up the win. Andrea Pizziconi got charged with the loss.
