It were quiet months following the World Baseball Classic Qualifiers in March, but now some news are available regarding the fourth and last WBCQ in Brooklyn, New York in September. According to a report by Jon Paul Morosi of MLB.com former legendary closer Trevor Hoffman is joining the coaching staff of Great Britain to serve as bullpen coach.

Additionally recently released MLB reliever Craig Breslow is joining Team Israel. It was already known that Hall of Famer Barry Larkin returns as manager of Team Brazil. He has added fellow MLB International Coaches and former MLB players LaTroy Hawkins and Steve Finley as assistant coaches. Besides Great Britain, Israel and Brazil also Pakistan will be participating at MCU Park in Brooklyn from September 22 to 25.
