The Greek National Team has to look for a new manager for the 2016 European Championship. Mauro Mazzotti, who took over that post in February of this year, has stepped down due to personal reasons. The current manager of the Italian Baseball League club T&A San Marino had coached the Spanish National Team from 2009 to 2014, leading them to the two bronze medals and the main tournament of the 2013 World Baseball Classic. At the 2016 European Championship in September Greece is facing Italy, Spain, France, Croatia and Belgium in Group B during the first round.
