“Deurne Spartans”, “Borgerhout Squirrels” meet again in Belgian Series
For a second straight year the “Deurne Spartans” and the “Borgerhout Squirrels” will meet in the Belgian Series. The best-of-five series starts this weekend with games one and two. Last year the “Deurne Spartans” stunned the heavy favorite “Borgerhout Squirrels” in the finals, by winning three of four games to win the Belgian Baseball Championship. This year roles are similar, as “Borgerhout” won the regular season easily.
