After day two of the U23 European Championship the teams from Croatia, Netherlands, Great Britain, Spain, France, Germany, Belgium and Czech Republic all already have clinched a spot in the quarterfinals on Friday.

In Group A the Dutch team beat Russia 9-1, while Croatia downed Belarus 18-7.

In Group B Great Britain overcame an 0-8 deficit in a 13-12 extra inning win over Poland. Spain shut out Austria 3-0.

In Group C France and Germany scored big with 24-2 and 21-0 wins over Georgia and Slovakia.

In Group D Belgium prevailed 8-0 over Lithuania and the Czech Republic bested last year’s U21 European Champion Ukraine 12-1.
